How to become a MoMo Corporate

Step 1:

As an aspiring Corporate, you will need to first complete the application form, account handler form, and Mobile Money agreement form.

Step 2:

Based on the type of business you run; the following documents will be required:

Company 

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association;
  • Resolution to open Account;
  • Certificate of Incorporation;
  • Trading License;
  • Form J & C;
  • Tax Clearance Certificate;
  • Lease Agreement for Company Premises (Where Applicable) or proof of physical address for the entity;
  • Proof of residence for Directors with more than 25% shareholding;
  • National Identity document for all Directors.
Partnership 

  • Copy of Constitution or Deed of Partnership;
  • Partnership Resolution for Account opening;
  • Proof of physical address for the entity;
  • Proof of residence for Signatories/Partners;
  • National Identity document for Signatories/Partners.
Sole Trader 

  • Trading License;
  • Tax Clearance Certificate;
  • Proof of physical address for the entity;
  • Proof of Residence for Sole Trader;
  • National Identity document for the director.

How does our Corporation get funds into its account?

Your corporation has access to the push/pull service accessible upon linking your MoMo account to Eswatini Bank or Eswatini Building Society. Your funds will be transferred in real-time.

 If our Corporation doesn’t bank with either Eswatini Bank or Eswatini Building Society, how then do we transfer funds?

Your Corporate may use the provided trust account. Funds will be reflected in the account within 24-48hrs

Using the services currently at Corporates disposal is free.

LimitsLimits

What is the limit of the transaction we can perform at a time/instance?

There is no cap to the number of transactions that can be carried out.

Failed TransactionFailed Transaction

The transaction we were processing just failed, the recipient’s number didn’t receive the funds, what could be the issue?

This could be a result of one of the following:

  • The number receiving the funds is not registered
  •  It could be due to intermittent coverage issues ongoing
  • The recipient’s limit may have been exceeded
  • The number reciprocating the funds may have expired
